I write character-driven comic scripts about belief, contradiction, and consequence.
My stories often explore what happens when systems created to protect people begin to turn into systems of control, and how ordinary people learn to justify the harm they cause within them.
I’m interested in characters who are trying to survive; people whose choices make emotional sense to them, even when those choices lead to loss or harm. A lot of my work focuses on identity, displacement, responsibility, and the tension between who someone is and what the world demands they become.
My writing draws from philosophy, history, and the ways people think under pressure, informed by an Arab perspective shaped by a cross-cultural upbringing.
